Baseball, Yuba and 4th of July

We are at it again.  Trey had a baseball tournament in Parawon a couple of weeks ago.  It was so much fun and he play amazing.  They played 4 games.  The first two games they lost but not by much.  Trey had some great hits and the team played well.  The 2nd day they hit the ground running and were a head by 1 in the last inning.  The other team had last ups. The first batter gets up and hits a pop up right to Trey(he was playing in the pitcher position) he catches it.  The crowd goes crazy and he's so excited that he did a little dance and fist pump.  They get a second out and it comes down to the last out.  The tying run is on 2nd base and the other teams big hitter is up.  He hits a line drive right to Trey. We all went NUTS!!!! They finally won and Trey was the big hero for the game.  It was so cool to see my boy light up and get so excited.  The last game they played great, Trey had another great catch in the last inning.  Man I'm so proud of how far my boy has come, I have to say that tourney was a fun one.

Our Yuba trip came next.  My aunt and uncle from Texas came up and we spent a couple of days camping at Yuba.  Josh let us all crash at his place where we put up lots of tents and had a blast.  He also hooked us all up with Zip Line rides, paddle boards, and a kayak.  We spent a couple of days at the beach, had dutch oven cobbler and lots of laughs.  Thanks Josh for letting us crash with you and for all the fun activities.

Last but not least we booked it home and had a half hour to spare before we were to be to a BBQ with some friends.  The kids had fun playing 500 and eating bbq pulled pork sandwiches and we ended with an amazing firework show.  It's been a fantastic few weeks and this week we've been recovering before we go again.
