Tuachan and Christmas Trees

Last week Elle had a couple of choir concerts.  Her first one was at Tuachan.  She did such a great job and looked super cute!  While at Tuachan we got to see Santa!  Each of the kids sat on his lap and might have had a 2 second conversation with him :)  After Santa we went and watched the Live Nativity that Tuachan puts on.  It was a great way to start our holidays.

 Miss Elle singing
It's Santa!!!
While waiting for the choir concert Brex and Trey had some fun!
Us after all the festivities….it was chilly.

We did our annual getting a real christmas tree!  The kids had so much fun picking it out and than getting to decorate it!
I always love the traditions that we do every year….The real tree, the new ornaments that the kids get each year from Gram and Papa, watching of The Grinch, christmas music and of course the annual picture of me and the kids in front of the tree. Its always fun to see them pull out their ornaments and remember what they use to like each year and to see how big they have grown each year! I love that they love these traditions too!
Pretty Tree and the biggest one we have ever had!!
Below was the annual making and decorating of the chocolate train.  This year turned out the best and each of the kids came up with their own ideas on how to decorate them.  Of course Trey's and Brex's are baseball themed. Trey did come up with the baseball wheels all by himself  and they turned out super cute!

Thanksgiving

Our baby boy lost his 1st tooth a few days before Thanksgiving.  He was so excited! Than he found out his best friend lost his first tooth the same day and that just made it even better.  The tooth fairy found him and he's just itching to spend his loot.

Happy Thanksgiving even if it's a tad bit late.  We went down to Cale's parents house this year and had a wonderful weekend.  We played pool, took the arctic cat and 4wheeler out and ate loads of good food.  The girls did make overs thanks Madi and the boys went shopping to get the good deals. :)

First time in a few years everyone's been together. We are a good looking bunch!!
Below: My cute kiddos. Love them.
We had all the toys out for lots of fun!
Cale Teaching the kiddos how to play pool.

We came back from Thanksgiving to a busy week.  The kids start basketball practices and games and Elle has 2 choir concerts and she had her wax museum on Wed.  She rocked her wax museum.  She was Coco Chanel and nailed it.  We found the perfect little black dress and pearls for her to wear and her poster was the best! She even had a fake bottle of Chanel No. 5 perfume.

Our little cutie pie looking too grown up.

Elle and her bestie Hailee.  Both look gorgeous!!

My girlie!

Championship Game

This past weekend was a busy one for sure.  We had the last baseball tournament, the last soccer game of the season and a volleyball game.

Brex had his last soccer game of the season and boy was he on point!  He came out aggressive and had a couple of chances to score but the other team had a kid that was huge and would plow the boys over and kick the ball out of bounds.  His team the green machine went undefeated this year and we couldn't be prouder of how hard our boy played.

He got his medal and was so proud!!

Next up was Elle at her Volleyball game.  This girl is amazing and killed it.  She made several points with her serves and by returning the ball.  Every ball that came to her made it back over the net. She's doing great! Her last game is this weekend and I know she's a little sad to see the season end.  Both games they played this week went to 3 sets each.  The lost one but won the other one!
Lastly was the 2 day baseball tournament for Trey and Cale. They divided our age group into 2 groups after the first day.  We won our first game but lost our second game.  That put us in the bottom tier.  We ended up winning both of our games on the 2nd day and made it to the championship game.  Our boys put up a great fight but we ended up losing that game.  It was so heartbreaking but I know it made our boys stronger.  It honestly was amazing just to make it to the championship as we are still a new team.  In less than a year we played our first game, won our first game and made it to a championship game.  Not many teams can say that they've been able to do that.  Our boys played their hearts out and left it all out on the field. I love that Trey is apart of such an awesome team.  The parents and families are so supportive and the boys are great friends.  I love that Trey and Cale get to do this together and build their relationship.  We love our OUTLAWS!!

Championship game. Our cheerleaders and our mascot as the team calls Brex.  The poor kid crashed not too long after the game started and ended up puking right before the end.

Our boys look sharp and more of Trey batting
Having fun before the 2nd game of the 1st day.

My OUTLAW boys all geared up.  They are so handsome!!

We love these boys and am so proud of them!

Halloween a little bit late

Time has flown by and it doesn't  look to be slowing down any time soon. October for us was the start of Volleyball, the thick of soccer and one baseball tournament.

First off is our little guy.  He's doing awesome in school and even got called up at the last assembly for being an outstanding leader and for being an awesome reader!  He was so stoked and his teacher gave him a soda. Made his day!! He's got a couple of friends that he likes to hang out with and I love that he finally has friends his own age! Also this week he didn't have any homework because he is so far ahead that they gave him the week off!  He is a stud!!! He's still killing it at soccer and he's improved his pitching skills and catcher skills. His idol is still his big brother and he has to have everything just like Trey! I know it drives Trey crazy at times but there will come a day when it will be different and we will wish for this time back.

Miss Elle started volleyball this past month and is amazing! She is a serving point machine.  She's even starting to get the hang of overhand serves.  She's in art and choir again and man this girl is talented.  Lately she's been singing with her daddy while he plays the guitar and I love it!! She too is killing it in school and just came home with an award for the best reader in her school…..We aren't sure if it was just her class, grade or school. Either way she is doing so good and we couldn't be prouder of her.  Next up for her is the wax museum where she has decided to be coco chanel and basketball.

Our Trey…. this kid is growing like a weed. I swear he grows a few inches every week! He got invited to play on a team for the Halloween baseball tournament and did awesome! He plays in another tournament this weekend and I know he will do well.  He too is excelling at school and got an award.  He's as smart as a whip and just a kind and sweet.  They had a track day where they ran laps around the track for a fundraiser.  Trey ran 12 laps and when he came around one time a lady that was counting laps asked him if he had a younger brother and he said yes…she than told him that he ran a lot of laps too and she could tell that it was in the family.  Brex ran 9 :) Coming up for Trey is the last baseball tournament of the season and he starts basketball.

Halloween came and went and we went out trick or treating with our friends and had so much fun!  The kids this year were mike trout, zombie mike trout and a minion. Elle and Trey went to see Thriller with their friends and went through the emotions of being scared and having a blast.  They were on the front row and so it made some of the acts super scary. Trey got to dance with a zombie and had Jason come up and smell him.  We did the school halloween parade well Brex and Elle did Trey was playing baseball and finally did some pumpkins.  Overall we had a good holiday and it's on to the next one.
In October we hit up the Desert Garden and spent a couple of hours hiking and looking at all of the different plants that grow in St. George.  The kids also went to the twins birthday party.  It was a ninja warrior party and all of them had a blast! Trey was even sore the next day :)

The picture below is of us waiting for Elle and the boys wanted to listen to TNT by AC DC.  My music rockers.

The picture below is of the party it was a load of kids and I'm glad I wasn't in charge of it. :)

Soccer and School

We are full swing into school and sports so here is an update on the kiddos.
Brex started Soccer a couple of weeks ago and he's loving it. He's scored 2 goals for the past 2 games.  His team is the green machine and they are quite the team.  Brex is loving kindergarten.  In the mornings he goes with Trey to the big kid field and plays whiffle ball or football with all the boys.  He loves it and they love having him there.  Some of Trey's friends came up to us and said can't Brex just come play with us in the mornings???!! Ever since then he's been over there with them. The best was when they were playing football.  Brex told us that some kid in a red shirt tackled him and all of Trey's friends started going after the kid for tackling him.  Hey you don't mess with Brex especially if Trey and his buddies are around!

So I gave him a smoothie. No need to say more. ;)

Green Machine

Daddy loves his soccer player!

Elle has started choir and of course loves it and she also started an art class.  This girl is quite the artist!  She's learning so much in her art class and is one happy girl!  My girl is also so stinkin smart!!! Cale asked me the other night if I ever check her homework. I said no not unless she asks me too or if I need to sign something. Cale grabbed her homework and sat down to go over it and was blown away.  She had all of her bagillion pages of homework done and she had only missed 1 problem.  Our girl is such a sweetheart and gets a long with everyone. I know I'm bragging but seriously there isn't a person that she doesn't get along with. We love her!!

Crazy kids

Trey is still doing baseball and is having a blast with school.  He's got an awesome teacher again this year.  He passed his math test with a 100% and his teacher bought him a 2 liter of soda and a thing of cotton candy!  How cool is that!  He played in a tournament this past weekend and owned it!! He pitched so good.  The first day he had 6 strike outs and no walks.  His hitting was awesome! With 9 at bats he hit 6 times and struck out twice and had 1 walk. It's fun to see his hard work paying off for him.  I'm not gonna lie when this kid get excited I can't help but get excited with him.  It's so infectious!!

 One of his hits!

All of my kids are doing amazing and I couldn't be prouder of the people they are and becoming.  Everyday I am in awe of them.  They make me want to be a better mom and person!  I tear up every time I think of how fast time is slipping away.  I want them to stay young forever but I am so excited to see where their journeys take them. Nothing is more important than family and the time you make to spend it with them. Cherish it for one day they will no longer be little.

School and such

The school year has officially started for all of the kids.  Brex had his kindergarten assessment test last Monday and the kid rocked it!!! The teachers were so impressed with his fine motor skills and said he's ready to go right into reading.  Elle and Trey like their classes and I think this year will be a good year.

Trey and Elle their 1st day of school and Brex on his 1st day.

Look at my baby go! Fun Story: The 2nd day of school.
Us: How did school go today?
B: Not so good.
Us: What? Why not? What Happened?
B: My teacher made us do table work all day!!!

He was only in school for 1hr and 40 mins.  It was so funny!

My babies on Brex's 1st day

We went to the batting cages and all 3 kids had a lot of fun.

Trey got invited to a birthday party and it was an old fashion baseball game. Red Sox vs. Yankees with wooden bats.  Trey was a Red Sox and they won. After the game they did a home run derby contest and Trey won with 4 home runs.  They gave him a trophy that says home run derby champ!  It was an awesome birthday party and he had a blast!

Lastly we went to Price for Dan and Michelle's open house.  It was really nice and a quick trip.  The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins and running till they were exhausted!  Thanks everyone for letting us stay and hang out with you!
