sweet

my big boy is such a sweetheart! on wednesday he went downhill fast with strep. he was up all night throwing up and hardly slept. The antibiotic the doc. gave us is helping him bounce back fast. now that i have strep he has been the biggest sweetie ever! he put his hand on my head and said that i had a "fever". he's been my little doctor and is taking care of me. i love my big boy and am glad that he is feeling better.

fishin'

the other night we were lookin' for an activity to do. cale came up with taking the kids fishing up at the pond near our house. i had no idea that this pond was there but cale and the kids had found it the day before and spent an hour up there running and playing. trey had also seen a guy catch 2 fish and couldn't wait to go back and catch his own fish. anyway we grabbed the fishing gear and the kids ran to their hearts content while cale tried to catch a fish. we got to see ducks in the pond and when one came ashore trey wanted to go catch it. we didn't get to stay long and no we didn't catch a fish but we sure had a lot of fun and will be back soon.

a few weekends ago we took the kids out to shoot trey's 22 gun. cale won this gun in a tourny awhile back before the kids were born and he said that if he ever had a son that it would be his gun. so trey has had a gun since birth and i'll tell you what the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. trey and elle both love to shoot just like their daddy! we even got grandma w. to go out with us and shoot a few rounds.

my sister becca just adopted her. she was born dec. 29, 2009 and weighed in at 4lbs 6oz. she had to stay in nicu for a week and today she is being released from the hospital. she now weighs 5lbs 1oz. they have to stay in maryland for a week but then she will be home!!!
