it's raining...

it's raining it's pouring and the kids are playing until........

the thunder hits! Good thing grandma and grandpa whitney were here to save them.

splash pad

tonight i met up with cale and the kids for dinner before cale went out golfing with the league. the kids and i went back to my work and after about an hour of work for me and i'm sure pure boringness for them, i decided to let them go play out on the splash pad for awhile. Of course they didn't have their swim suits so i let them go in their clothes and boy did they have a blast!! we were there for over an hour. my guards when they were on break would come out and play with them and they thought that was so cool.

1st day of preschool

Trey had his 1st day of preschool on thursday. He was upset when we first got there and wouldn't let me leave. But then he got to playing with some blocks with a few other kids and i was able to sneak out. It was interesting how all of the girls sat right down and started to color and all of the boys were having a hard time letting mommy or daddy leave. I got to see him when his class was coming out of the bathrooms. Of course i hid kind of in a doorway so he couldn't see me. He looked like he was doing really well. I can't imagine taking 15 kids to the bathroom at the same time. Some one mentioned that they had been in there for a 1/2 hour. They got to play with food coloring and go into the gym. When i went to go pick him up he was very quiet and didn't say anything. We thought that it was odd that he wasn't his usual self. Cale brought lunch and we all ate together and then they all went home while i finished working. Awhile later I got a phone call from cale. Trey had a fever and could barely talk. No wonder my little boy wasn't his usual self he was sick!! So his 1st day in my opinion went as well as it could have considering he is sick. Hopefully it will be better on tuesday!

preschool open house

Today we went to trey's preschool open house and met his teachers. He has 3 teachers that will teach his class of 15 kids. There is miss amy, miss tracie and miss robyn. They are all super nice. Trey was so excited to go meet his preschool teachers. all morning he kept saying we go see teachers. he starts next thursday and i think he'll have a blast! Every tues he'll do jiu jitsu and on thurs. he'll do gymnastics, with the exception of the once a month trip to the swimming pool.

My baby girl is turning 2

That's right! my baby girl is turning 2 and i just wanted to do a slide show of how much she has changed in 1 year. i can't believe what a difference one year makes.

sand volleyball

So my staff has gotten on a kick of playing sand volleyball in the early mornings or at night around 8 when it's not so hot. They've all been razzing me to play with them so i have given in and it has been a blast!! The last time i played was when we played at the institute in good ol' price. My arms are all bruised from hitting the ball and my knees are all bruised up from diving and hitting rocks. Of course because i am the boss they all give me a hard time and there is a play that is now named the "Tiffany". It really has been fun and i've got a great staff and they definitely keep me laughing!!!

Trey has almost conquered potty training. I'm so excited! it couldn't have come at a better time, he starts preschool Aug. 13th and they have to be potty trained. He's going to have so much fun in preschool. he'll get to come to work with me at 9 and then he'll get to do gymnastics, martial arts, swimming and a ton of other activities.
