first hair cut.

Elle finally got her first hair cut! She is almost 4 and we've never cut her hair. She was such a big girl and held really still so the girl could cut it straight. She also had to stand on the chair because her hair was so long.

Good job Elle for being such a big girl!

swim lessons

the kids have been in swimming lessons for the past 2 weeks. they are both doing so well and having so much fun. elle has turned into our little fish and is so comfortable with the water that she doesn't have a problem going under. trey loves the water too and keeps asking when we get to go swimming next. he's been so excited because he can finally can touch everywhere in the pool and doesn't need us to help hold him up.




in other news brex now weighs 12lbs 11oz and has an ear infection. it also looks like he's got reflux and is now on medicine for it! he's getting so big and i have a feeling that he will be as big as trey and elle. he's such a cutie pie and has us all wrapped around his finger. isn't life grand!!

hiking

trey decided yesterday that he wanted to go hiking. so he and elle went hiking with uncle dan. they went up by the dixie sign and had a ball! thanks so much dan for taking them. next time i will come with brex.

heads or tails

when was the first time that you resorted to heads or tails to decide something??? Our time came lastnight.



trey and elle couldn't agree on a movie to watch, and they couldn't agree on whose turn it was to pick. So cale whipped out the quarter and they played heads or tails. i started laughing in the other room as i listened to cale explain heads or tails to them. elle kept yelling out i want heads and we're watching princess and the frog. she acted as if she had already won. after her outbursts cale would then explain the rules again. finally he flipped the coin elle heads, trey tails(both of us hoping that its heads, trey usually will go with the flow.) TAILS! needless to say they didn't watch princess and the frog and there were a few tears. on the plus side she got the quarter and fell asleep(woohoo!) soon after the start of Astro Boy. our first heads or tails wasn't a total success but it wasn't a failure either. So tell me how did your first heads or tails experience go, success or failure????
