Baseball, 5k, Reunion and homecoming

Whew that's a lot and that's just the title of the post.  We had a busy week last week and it all started out with a baseball tournament.  Trey's team the Vipers played in the Utah Summer Games and for being their first tournament as a team they did well.  It was definitely eye opening as to what they need to work on but it was a great experience for them.  Trey had a couple of awesome throws from the outfield to try to get the kids out at 2nd and 3rd but the umps called them safe each time.  He was also awarded the game ball after their last game.  I'm so proud of him for getting out there and playing hard.

In between the games on Thursday we went to the movies and saw How to Train your Dragon 2. Loads of fun!

On Friday I went up north while Trey and Cale stayed for day 2 of the tournament.  Brex, Elle and I hit up the OWLZ baseball game in Orem that night with my family.  We had so much fun sitting on the grass letting all the kids run and play to their hearts content.  We were surprised at the end of the game with Fireworks.  It was so much fun we just missed out on Trey and Cale being with us, they came up after Trey finished his games and rolled into town about 11pm Friday night.  At least Trey made it to run the 5k with us.

We all got up early Saturday morning to go run the Color Me Rad 5k race. Boy was it a blast! We had almost all of my siblings there.  We were missing Shari and her family and Josh. The kids did AMAZING!!! Brex is such a trooper, while he was running all these people would make comments about how well he was doing and how cute he was. I have to say I was one proud momma! Elle did awesome too, she danced before the race and got a little bit worn out but man she finished it and finished strong.  Trey is all about speed and to him a race is a race regardless if you add color or not.  He took off like a rocket and I left Uncle Dan to keep up with him.  Brex wanted to race with Uncle Brandon so he got too. Elle ran with Uncle Brandon too for the 2nd half while I took my nephew Zack and made a run for it.  We had a blast coloring each other with the color bags they gave us and we even gave my mom pink hair. I swear I'm still rinsing out orange from my hair. :)

After the race we went to the Jone's family reunion where we had lunch and play some wuffle ball. My uncles all joined in and we had so much fun!  My favorite is when my uncle Allen slide into 2nd base. We were all cracking up.

Our last stop on our trip was down to Price for Brandon's homecoming.  We stayed in a hotel and the kids swam and swam and swam.  I don't know how they even had the energy after running the 5k and playing baseball at the reunion. On Sunday after the homecoming we ate lunch with my family and the kids got to pick Cherries from my parents Cherry Tree.  They had a blast and were excited to bring some home with us.

We had so much fun and are still recovering but we can't wait to go up again for more fun.  Thanks to my family for letting us stay at your house, for driving us around and for letting us come play. We love you all!
