Slacker

I'm such a slacker! We headed right into summer and I haven't blogged once.  We ended the school year with a bang. The kids played the whole last week with swim days and water days and parties that I wonder why they even have the last week of school.  Trey's baseball team made it to the Championship game and took 2nd.  They had an amazing season and Trey played awesome in the tournament.  In the first game he started a rally with an amazing triple.  He was so excited and lit a fire under the rest of his team it was so cool to watch.  We than started summer off by getting sick and that wasn't any fun.  We've since bounced out of that(well kind of Trey's just getting over Strep), and have been having fun swimming and playing.  Trey has made a baseball club team and he is getting ready for his first tournament this weekend at the Utah Summer Games.  He's also on another baseball team that is doing a machine pitch tournament next weekend and his buddy's Karter and Kaleb are on the team with him.  He's pretty excited for that one.  In other news my little bro came home last week from his mission and we are heading up north this weekend to go see him.  It's gonna be a big ol' family reunion with lots of fun and food as usual :)  The last time that Brex saw him was when he was 2 it's going to be interesting to see what he thinks of his uncle Brandon. Elle is in full swing of coming up with new activities every day.  So far we have tried out marble water nails(thats a fun activity with my girl a little messy but fun), quite a few different hair styles and a few new recipes. Brex has even helped me out in the kitchen.  He can whip eggs like nobodies business! :)  That's it for now but we've got a busy weekend in front of us so I'm sure I will update real soon.
