baseball, summer & cars 2

wow summer is flying by so fast! we have been super busy and are loving the down time with the kids.  trey kicked off the summer with his last few baseball games.  he loved playing and by the end of the season we had parents asking us how old he was and telling us how good he is at the game.  we were all sad when the season ended. we had gotten into a groove of heading to the ball fields every tues and sat for games and thurs for practices.  it made the weeks go by so fast and it was a blast to be outside.

the first weekend in june we headed up to lehi for my niece maggie's baby blessing and sealing!  it was also the first time that we got to meet her and she is such a doll!  the kids had a blast playing for days with their cousins and we had fun visiting with the fam.  while up there we went to a doctor for cale's back.  he is now scheduled to have back surgery on july 18th up at the new riverton hospital.  everyone keep your fingers crossed and a prayer in your hearts that this works!!!
now that summer is in full swing it is getting HOT! it's good ol' st. george weather and it's hard to keep the otter pops in stock at our house.  elle i think is living off those.
 
the kids have been to the city pool a couple of times with uncle dan and i am trying to get them into swimming lessons. we may have to wait and do the last session this summer.  with the warmer weather it's hard for the kids to play outside some days and so the fun has begun with them being indoors.  brex has gotten into the peanut butter, gotten stuck in our entertainment center, dumped out my sugar and loves to tease elle by pulling her hair.  i swear everyday i get to hear all the funny stories of what they've been up too and i tell you what cale by far has more patience than i do.

last but not least in our house the count down was on for cars 2!!!! cale took the kids to go see it and trey loved it! i'll tell you what cars has been a huge hit with my kids and it's been so fun to see trey and elle count down the days til it came to the theaters.

Graduation & Birthday(Lots of Pictures)

Yesterday was a busy and super fun day.  We started off with Elles Preschool graduation.  It was a lot of fun and she is officially a kindergartener.  As soon as she was done it was off to go decorate for Trey's birthday.  He wanted a pirate theme party.  So we got a pirate cake, plates, napkins, cups, balloons and he got a sword, hat and eye patch.  He got to take cupcakes to school today to share with his classmates and they must have been good because the frosting was all over his face.  To stick with the pirate theme we went to pirate island pizza for lunch and he is now playing lego pirates on the xbox.  I can't believe he is 6 years old, wow how time flies.  He's had a blast today and has worn us out.  Happy Birthday Trey!  We love you so much!

Sad Day

It's graduation time for my baby girl!  Her last day of preschool is on friday and that means it's the last day where I get to drive her to school, watch her play with her little friends, giggle as she swings on the rope in gymnastics, and watch her skip into class.  There are so many things that I'm going to miss doing with my little Elle Belle. There's the rockin' out in the truck on the way to school, racing to my office, holding her hand as we walk to her classroom, and seeing the big ol' smile light up her face when I pick her up.  Most of all I'm going to miss the extra hour that I would get to spend with her while we waited for daddy to come pick her up.  Some days she would go into daycare but usually she would come color in my office while I worked on my computer.  Sure there is going to be other times when I get to take her to school, but it won't be the same as having her right there in the same building and knowing that I can watch her learn and grow.  I love you Elle Belle and will miss having our morning girl time!

soccer & baseball

Trey SCORED in soccer this past saturday!  he drove the ball all the way down the field and scored against the goalie and 2 defenders!!!  it was his last game of the season and i am so proud!  he's grown up so much since starting soccer and he's learned a ton too!  he's a little bit sad to see the season end but he's all good since we started kindergarten baseball tonight and he did awesome!!! he's on the orange peel team and did really well for his 1st game.  his 1st hit went over all their heads between 1st and 2nd base.  his 2nd hit was a line drive through 2nd and 3rd base. he also fielded 2 balls and got 2 kids out. all of the kids were super cute to watch and one little girl even cried when they got her out. this is such a fun age and  i've been saying this all day long, I love kindergarten sports!

Graduation #1

Trey had his kindergarten graduation today! He did AWESOME! He had 2 speaking parts and nailed them both! Each of the students were dressed up as different occupations. Trey was a banker, his part was:
