baseball, summer & cars 2

wow summer is flying by so fast! we have been super busy and are loving the down time with the kids.  trey kicked off the summer with his last few baseball games.  he loved playing and by the end of the season we had parents asking us how old he was and telling us how good he is at the game.  we were all sad when the season ended. we had gotten into a groove of heading to the ball fields every tues and sat for games and thurs for practices.  it made the weeks go by so fast and it was a blast to be outside.

the first weekend in june we headed up to lehi for my niece maggie's baby blessing and sealing!  it was also the first time that we got to meet her and she is such a doll!  the kids had a blast playing for days with their cousins and we had fun visiting with the fam.  while up there we went to a doctor for cale's back.  he is now scheduled to have back surgery on july 18th up at the new riverton hospital.  everyone keep your fingers crossed and a prayer in your hearts that this works!!!
now that summer is in full swing it is getting HOT! it's good ol' st. george weather and it's hard to keep the otter pops in stock at our house.  elle i think is living off those.
 
the kids have been to the city pool a couple of times with uncle dan and i am trying to get them into swimming lessons. we may have to wait and do the last session this summer.  with the warmer weather it's hard for the kids to play outside some days and so the fun has begun with them being indoors.  brex has gotten into the peanut butter, gotten stuck in our entertainment center, dumped out my sugar and loves to tease elle by pulling her hair.  i swear everyday i get to hear all the funny stories of what they've been up too and i tell you what cale by far has more patience than i do.

last but not least in our house the count down was on for cars 2!!!! cale took the kids to go see it and trey loved it! i'll tell you what cars has been a huge hit with my kids and it's been so fun to see trey and elle count down the days til it came to the theaters.
