Baseball

We have started Little League and both Elle and Trey are playing.  Trey is playing in the minors and has been doing really well.  His team is the Red Sox and so far the are 3-0.  He's played 2nd, shortstop and third base.  He's walked, struck out and been beaned by the ball.  He's yet to get a good hit but he will get there soon! He's had a lot of fun and his coach is good.  His favorite part so far is the fact that he beat his friends team the giants. At school they were talking trash and said they were going to win.  It was a close game and Trey's team came out on top.  Talk about total excitement.  Elle's playing kid/coach pitch softball.  The girls will throw 4 pitches and than the coach does 2.  They get a chance to swing at all 6 pitches to see if they can get a hit.  The rules we are told will change in the middle of the season so guess we will see how this turns out.  She has played shortstop, third and catcher.  She had 2 amazing hits at her game last night and she even hit them off of the girl pitcher.  She's come a long way from the first game and her team is starting to click.  It's gonna be a great baseball season!!!
