Dogtown 5k & Ducks unlimited

This past weekend was the Dogtown Half Marathon, 9k & 5k. Trey loves to run and he likes doing this race.(it doesn't hurt that my work puts on this race.) This year Uncle Dan and Aunt Paula ran it with him.  Uncle Josh ran the 9k. They had so much fun and Trey beat his time last year by 3 mins.  Last year he ran it in 28 mins and this year 25mins.  He did awesome and I am so proud of him.  He also inspired his cousin Zack to start running.  We are already planning on doing the Color Me Rad in June up in Salt Lake City and Uncle Brandon doesn't know it yet but he is running it too.  We will be up there for Brandon's homecoming and figured we'd do this too. While they were all running, I got to hang out with the kiddos.  We had Zack and Codi come down and play with us.  They got to watch everyone start and finish the race.  While they were running we went around the farm to look at all the animals and to play on the playground.  We even got to do the photo booth where we made funny faces. To round out the weekend we played at the park and went hiking up at Dixie Rock.  The weather was beautiful and we couldn't help but soak up some Vitamin D.  It was a busy and fun weekend but it didn't end there, we had one more adventure up our sleeves.
The Ducks Unlimited Shoot down in Vegas.
Cale hasn't shot in about 4 years and decided to shoot in this tournament.  He was gone from Thurs until late Sunday night so he missed out on our race excitement but he had his own excitement.  My baby took 3rd overall in his class and that's after not shooting in forever.  I'm so proud of him and can't wait to see what shoot he does next.  A big shout out to my in-laws for keeping Cale company all weekend and going to the shoot with him.  We appreciate everything you do for us. Love ya!
