35+

we are finally in the home stretch. life has been crazy and with a little over a month left til baby whitney gets here it's only beginning. work for me is super busy right now. we have come into the spring break season and everyday we are slammed with patrons. not only has it been spring break but it is easter time and that means "duckie drop". every year around easter my co-worker donnie and i put together the duckie drop for the washington city community center. we dump 400 ducks from our big dump bucket in the pool and kids ages 3-12 gather them up and redeem them for prizes. we give out easter baskets, bikes, scooters, big kites, sports balls and so many more things. each kid that comes to this event walks away with a bag full of free kids meals from different places around town, a beach ball and than something else. it's a blast! trey and elle can't wait til monday night when they get to go swimming for a duck! i can't wait til it's over and i can relax and concentrate on getting things ready for the baby.

the kids are doing so good. the weather has been beautiful! they have spent their days outside riding bikes and doing a little bit of chipping and putting with daddy.
they are excited for the baby to get here and ask on a daily basis how much longer it is going to be. we registered trey this week for kindergarten. he did really well but was super shy. they did a little evaluation with him and gave him a curious george book to take home. after they did his evaluation they kept trying to get elle to do one too thinking she was coming to kindergarten too. we had to tell them that she still had another year before she came to school. when we left elle was upset, she wants to go to kindergarten too. i know she can't wait but i sure can one kid at a time. :)

just a picture of them.
