Fall Soccer

Fall soccer has started!  Both Trey and Elle are playing Kicks this fall.  Trey's team is the Blue Ninjas and Elle's team is the Ice Princesses.  They both had games today and did fairly well considering it's been awhile since either has played.  Poor Brex is so sad that he doesn't get to play. Only one more year buddy than you can.

Aladdin

Last night we took the kids to go see Aladdin at Tuacahn. The kids had such a blast and loved every single second of it.  Elle's favorite part was when Aladdin and Jasmine rode on their magic carpet up into the crowd.  They came about half way up into the seating area, it was pretty awesome!  Trey loved it all he thought the Genie was so awesome!  They can't wait to go back again!

1st day of school 2012

The 1st day of school was today.  

 We now have a big 2nd grader

a new 1st grader 

 and one little tot that wishes he got to go to school too.

Elle's teacher is Miss Williams and Trey's teacher is Mrs. Bundy. Both kids really like their teachers and think it's gonna be a great year and I think they are right.  Both made some new friends today and had a blast playing with their old friends.  They were up at the crack of dawn this morning and were so excited to go. Lets hope this keeps up through the rest of the year.

Turning 30

Turning 30 wasn't so bad.  I don't feel older and I definitely don't act older.  So maybe 30 won't be so bad.  My brother Dan came over yesterday on my birthday and made me a Raspberry Cheesecake. It was yummy! My hubby took me up north to spend the weekend with my sisters and family. My sister Paula also made us a Raspberry Cheesecake for all our birthdays. It too was really yummy.(I really love cheesecake!)My kids gave me tons and tons of hugs and kisses.  Life has been pretty sweet lately so I am not going to fret about turning 30. Besides its just a number right!!! :)

Birthday weekend

This past weekend we headed up north for the birthday weekend.  Normally my family comes down to St. George and we go to Tuachan.  But this year we headed to Sundance to see 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. 

We started our weekend out with a date night by going to see the Dark Knight.  Polly babysat all the kids for us and Becca, Brad, Kelz, Cale and I all went.  It was really good and sooooo nice to have a date night.  

On Sat. us birthday girls(Elle, Becca, Kelly, Polly and myself) went and got Pedicures.  Elle has never gotten a professional one and she LOVED it!  I think I may be in trouble now.

After pedis we went shopping and took the kiddos to the splash pad.  After that we took all the kids to Shari's house and went to dinner at Goodwin's BBQ in Orem.  That was really yummy.  We got to visit with my parents and grandpa also with Cliff and Kim.  After dinner we headed to the play.  It was so much fun and much needed and thank-you to my sisters for the place to crash, the watching my kiddos and for having fun with me!!!  Love you all!

Teeth

Elle has lost her first tooth.  She lost it the day after her birthday.  She was so excited for the tooth fairy to come and leave her some money.  Lets just say the tooth fairy didn't disappoint. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLE BELLE

Our little girl turned 6 today and we have had a blow out!!! She had a Monster High themed birthday.  I had a friend of mine make her cake and she loved it.  Some of the cute things that she has said today are: "This is the best birthday ever!" and "I just wanna say Thank-you!" I'm not gonna lie when she said Thank-you I teared up a little bit.  She is so gracious and loving and the best little girl anyone could have.  We love you sweetheart and we are so glad you have the best birthday ever!!
