In September Cale and I went to a Kacey Musgraves concert in Salt Lake. It was an awesome 2 day get away for us. The concert was amazing and I can't wait to go again! The kids stayed with cale's parents and had a blast. We've been keeping busy with running the kids around to their activities and man that's enough.
Brex started up flag football, soccer and had a baseball tournament. This was his first year playing football and the kid was a boss out on the field. He had tons of flag pulls and his team ended up winning the championship for his age group! In soccer he came back strong as ever and was a scoring machine. He was lucky and got the same coach he had last year and some of the same players. His baseball team made it to their first championship game and took 2nd. I was so proud of this kid as he caught a fly ball and had a few walks. They had to play 3 games all right in a row and I never heard him complain. If that wasn't enough excitement for one day we ended the night at the rodeo sitting on the front row and having a blast! In October we took him to an eye doctor on the request of the school as he failed his eye test. We were shocked to find out that he has really bad eyes. He is both near sighted and far sighted and a 4 in one eye and 5 in the other eye. The kid really couldn't see but we never would have guessed as he plays all these sports and is doing amazing in school! Since then we've gotten his glasses and it's taken him a little while to get use to them but he is doing fantastic!
Elle in September started up Choir. She was such a trooper going from game to game and keeping us all on track. She's doing amazing in school and loves going and chilling with her friends. We have thought about putting her in swim team and might do that come spring. In October she started up volleyball and did so awesome! Her over hand is coming right a long she's got the game down. She's kept up on her art and loves to sit and draw or color or create whatever she wants.
Trey's September was filled with flag football where he was the quarter back and the kids incredible. He would have at least 20 flag pulls each games and score their only touchdowns. His team wasn't very good but Trey didn't let that get him down. They never won a game but he kept on playing his A game. He also had baseball. The Outlaws weren't playing but he played with the Badgers and went 3-1 in their tournament. He's been seeing a pitching coach who is a retired MLB pitcher Brandon Lyon. He's done so well with Trey and the confidence that has come from Trey is so inspiring. He also played in an October tournament with the Badgers and again the went 3-1. Trey ended the first quarter with a 3.88 grade point average and made the honor roll. He is so smart and I couldn't be prouder.
In October we had fall break and went down to G&G Whitney's house were we went to a pumpkin patch for pumpkins. We had a blast picking them out and plaing all weekend. The kids had fun drawing up their own designs for the pumpkins and Cale cut them out. We ended up trick or treating with Karter, Kaleb, Ty, Trey, Hailee and Lilla. The kids had a blast and got loads of candy. Elle went as a nerd, Brex as ball player and Trey as a ball player. We also had cousins come down and had a super fun weekend with them. We hiked by the dixie rock and hit up the new park and did house of jump. We had a super fun and busy September and October and I'm sure I've forgotten tons but oh well.
