All Stars

Trey made the 10u Majors All Stars team this year.  After the 4th of July we had one day of chillin and after that took off running.  Trey's first game was that Wednesday and he started the team off right by pitching an amazing game.  They won that game and the next.  We were able to have a day off of not traveling to Cedar for the games as we were on the winning bracket.
Here he is during the first game.
The boys would line up at the beginning of each game to recite the motto and say the pledge of alligence.

He played again on Saturday against Dixie and man what an intense game.  They were in the 5th inning and we were tied.  Trey was up and got a hit and was able to score that inning to put us one up.  We just needed to hold the other team in the 6th inning and we would win.  Dixie scored and tied it back up. Fast forward to the bottom of the 7th and Trey's back up.  He hits the ball to 2nd base and legged out to be safe at first.  He worked his way around the bases and with 2 outs we needed him to score.  On a pass ball Trey ran home and won the game to put his team in first place and undefeated going into the championship game.  The Big game was today and we played Dixie again.  This time the team didn't take any chances.  We came out with our bats swinging and our defense tough.   We Won the Utah State Championship for 10u!!
The semi's game.  He is looking good!

I had to laugh cause he's almost as tall as the coach.

Love that they do this.

Pizza party night before championship

Huddle before the game.

He did start pitching the championship game but couldn't find his groove.

Good looking kid right there.

Holding down the field.

Handing out the bats they got for winning.

Listening intently :)

Woo Hoo!!! Champions!

I love this kid of mine!

Trey did such a great job all week and I couldn't be prouder of him.  He stepped up when his team needed him. This kid has heart and doesn't give up.  I'm so glad that he was able to have this experience.
