Choir Concerts and such

Elle had her end of year choir concerts this past month.  Her first concert was at Tuachan with a bunch of other schools.  The place was packed and they all sounded awesome.  She then had her last one this past week at her school.  They sang a lot of Mary Poppins songs and she loved it.  She got to stand by her best friend Riley this year and those two would start to giggle and it made me smile.  I'm not gonna lie, it will be nice not to have to get up super early to take her.  She's our little music and art girl and now that both of those are over I'm hoping we can get her started on her guitar and softball a little bit more.

This past weekend we had my brother and his family stop by on their way to California.  The kids had a blast playing with Taylor and having nerf wars.  

Lastly we ended the soccer season on Saturday.  Trey's team was undefeated again.  I think it's been 5 seasons that they haven't lost a game. They are a great group of boys and I think we aren't too far off from joining the competitive circuit.  Heaven help us if we do. :)  Brex's last game was for the championship. His team hadn't lost all season and they were playing the team in 2nd place.  We were short a few of our better players and his team ended up losing the game.  He was so sad and it was hard to watch but we told him that that's how it goes sometimes. Now we just have the end of school baseball and softball for the next 3-4 weeks.  I'm looking forward to a slower pace.
