flag football & other happenings

we have officially started flag football. when i say we i really mean trey has started flag football.  he's one of the smallest on the team which is a first for us. they combined 1st and 2nd graders and his team has some big boys on it. His first game is this saturday and he has practice tonight.  i will get some pictures this weekend.  other than that we are in full swing with school.  elle has the teachers wrapped around her finger and has made a tons of friends. we had trey's sep's last week and he is doing amazing! poor brex doesn't know what to do with the kids gone. once the weather starts to cool down maybe we can do daily park visits to help the time go faster.  he's also getting his bottom molars and boy has it been rough.  cale has been getting better every day since his surgery. cale's mom has been staying with us during the weeks and the kids have been in 7'th heaven with the round the clock spoiling they have been getting 5 days a week. not to mention the incredible amount of help she has been to cale and i. we cannot thank her enough, it wouldn't have been possible to do this without her (and cales dad for generously sharing her with us for all this time). in fact we have been really blessed throughout this whole time of trial with both of our families pitching in with babysitting, visits to the hospital, and more offers to help than we can count. its during times like these that you really see the value of a supportive family and we are blessed to have a couple of great ones.
