lastnight we took the kids to get ice cream at dairy queen. cale was trying to tell them that they needed to try a chocolate dipped ice cream cone. trey didn't want one, but we wanted him to at least try one. come on who doesn't like chocolate covered ice cream?!!! we told him that if he didn't like it we would get him what he wanted. we go through the drive thru and on the way home trey keeps saying he doesn't like it and this is the conversation that proceeds.
Me:" give it to me and i will throw it out the window"(i was joking of course.)
Trey: "then the cops will get you."
Cale and I start laughing cause that's funny. We then proceed to stop at a red light and trey starts freaking out saying, "don't stop, don't stop."
Cale: "why not?"
Trey: "because we like mommy!"
He thought we had been stopped by a cop and they were coming to get me. it was super cute! we had to explain to him that the cops weren't coming to get us because we had done nothing wrong. needless to say he didn't like his chocolate covered ice cream cone and when we got home we took the chocolate off and he was happy as could be with a vanilla cone.

That is so cute! I love that you recorded this, because 10 years from now Trey will think this is hilarious.
The dipped cones are rather messy. Perhaps he would have preferred strawberry? :)
