this past weekend we went up to midway to spend some time with cale's family. it was so much fun! the kids had a blast playing with all of their cousins. cale had fun golfing and playing ping pong with ty, and i totally loved the weather and company! we took the kids swimming, and to the movies. elle was fearless when it came to the swimming. she would run and jump in and try to dodge cale(he was trying to catch her). We laughed so hard when maxx and ty had their boxing match downstairs. i don't know who won but i'm thinkin' they both had some pretty good shots at the other one. we did a little rock band, some football,and ate great burgers and chicken(cobi it was awesome chicken. i definitely need the recipe.)also we can't forget the beloved mountain dew cake that madi made!:) thanks cobi and burt for letting us crash at your pad!
just when we thought the weekend was over, we had a surprise visit from cale's cousin charmaine and her adorable family. they are up from texas on a little vacation and wanted to see us. cale, the kids, charmaine, chris and their two kids all went swimming and then we had dinner and root beer floats. it was so great to see them and to catch up. what a great weekend it is when you get to spend it with those that you love!
I also have to put this great piece of news in, my sister becca just found an adoption agency that they want to go through and they could have a baby in 3-6 months if everything goes right!!

Your kids are so cute and are getting so big, preschool already! We are expecting number 2 in march, give me a call sometime, I have the same #.
