April Tournament

This past weekend we had another baseball tournament.  My family also came down to spend some time with us.  We went to 2 soccer games and 2 baseball games on Sat. We also got some shopping in and of course we BBQ both days that they were here.  Trey pitched on Friday for the 2nd game and Pitched a No Hitter!  The final score was 14-0!!! He did amazing and honestly how many 9 year olds can pitch a no hitter in a club tournament.  I am so proud of this kid! He also had an amazing hit that went over the left fielders head and almost made a home run!  We had a rough go on Saturday but that's okay we are still a new team and are still working out the kinks.  We ended our Saturday of fun at the ball fields with a trip to Menchies for some frozen yogurt.  It was my mom's first time going.  I think she liked it :).   Thanks for coming down family and for kicking it with us!

Random

We've been super busy as I have now done 6 posts about the random activities that have happened in the last month since I've blogged.  

Trey had to do a wax museum book report for school.  He did it on Jackie Robinson and was chosen to showcase his board and report at the Leadership night held at the school for all the students and parents.  He did awesome!!! He loved it and totally got into character.  His buddy Karter was chosen too so they had a blast at leadership and looked so cute!

We had a big ol sleepover with some of the kids friends.  They had a blast playing wii u and watching movies all night.  The next day we took them swimming and had a major nerf war!

 This kid had his kindergarten check up and is good to go!  We got him registered and now he's gonna be a big Kindergartner next year! He's so excited, not sure how Cale and I feel about that. 

Easter

So I've done some of these posts out of order but that's all good!  We had an awesome Easter!  I love the Easter season as it's a time to remember Christ but it's also a great reminder of what we have and can have.  We always have such a great time for Easter as it's all about family time.  We went to Gram and Papa's house this year and had an awesome 114 easter egg hunt and the bunny hunt and the piñata.  The kids got so much candy that we still have bags full almost 2 weeks later.  The kids got to play outside to their hearts content and relax and actually enjoy some R&R.  Thanks G&G for the fun weekend! We love you!

Brex is 5

My baby is 5!!! I can't believe it and am a little bit sad to see him growing up! He's been on the count down to his birthday since Christmas and it finally came!  Brex, you are my baby, my sweet sweet boy!  You light up our lives and keep us on our toes.  You have the best personality and have become everyones favorite little guy!  In short you have us all wrapped around your little finger and we all love it!  Happy birthday baby boy! We sure do love you to pieces!

 What a day his birthday was. He took a cake to preschool to share with the class, than Gram and Papa came to visit and celebrate with us. We went to fiesta fun and went bowling and played arcade games.  We than came home ate and headed to his baseball game.  After the game we met the Outlaws at the batting cages than off to Dairy Queen for some Ice cream where he got presents!  We finally had him blow out his candle on his cake at like 9pm that night.  Happy Birthday buddy!

Soccer and Little League

Soccer and Little League have begun.  I can't tell you how much busier we have gotten. Every year we do this but every year we seem to have so much fun!  Brex made 3 goals in his first soccer game and is having a blast!  He is the green snakes this time and what a cute team he's got.  He is also playing coach pitch baseball for the first time this year and boy is it so freakin cute!  He is on the Giants team and he's done really well! He has gotten a couple of awesome hits and has loved every minute playing! Fun tid bit for him. On his 1st practice he was opening the car door before we had even stopped and grabbed his bag and marched right on up to the coach as if he owned the team.  He was first in line for everything and at the end of the practice said coach where's our hats and shirts!  The kid has been geared up for this for over a year! Dreams do come true!

Elle is doing great this year in soccer and is a total butt kicker in Softball again.  She's the only girl that knows how to pitch and seriously this chick had like 8 strike outs in the first game!  She's had a couple of bomber hits too.  Her soccer team is amazing and they push her which is awesome.  The other cool thing is that some of her soccer team mates are on her softball team too so this has been so much fun for her to make new friends!

Trey is getting to play soccer with his buddies Karter and Kaleb.  They are a mean trio of boys that honestly kick some serious butt!  They know each other so well that the other teams haven't had a chance to score.  I so wish that soccer and baseball weren't at the same time because these boys could be amazing if they kept up with the soccer.   Trey is on the Red Sox's again this year for baseball and on his 1st game hit a home run!  Way to go buddy!  He's yet to pitch but that is set for this Thursday.  Wish him luck!

Outlaws Win!

Outlaws won their first game on March 27th!! They also won again the next day!  It was such an awesome time for our team!  They have really started to come together as a team and honestly there isn't a better group of boys and parents than these teammates!  It's been such a great experience for Trey and us to do this club ball team.  There have been many sleepovers, BBQ's and DQ trips! It's like having a 2nd family! Way to go team and here is to many more wins and parties! GO OUTLAWS!!!

Happy Birthday Cale!

I know this post is a tad bit late but I had to do it to say Happy Birthday to the man that completes me!  Babe you make life so sweet and you fill it with laughter and compassion!  I am so lucky to get to call you mine and go on this life journey with you!  I hope your birthday was all that you wanted it to be!  I love you sweets!
