It's Broke.

Our little Brex broke his leg on Saturday.  He was jumping on the trampoline and came down wrong on his leg.  He's got a fracture in his tibia bone. We took him to the er and the kid was super brave as they moved his leg around trying to look at it and get x-rays done.  He was a little rough when it happened but he's bouncing back like a champ.  He has little crutches that he tried out for the first time yesterday and I'm curious to see if he'll use them again today.  We go to see the ortho dr. tomorrow. He'll take more x-rays to make sure they didn't miss anything and put a cast on it.  It's kind of crappy timing being summer and all but he's in good spirits.  He's still cracking jokes and has done amazing! I don't think I could be a good about a broken leg as he's being.

Baptism

Saturday June 1st, 2013 at about 10:30 AM Trey was baptized and became a member of the Church.  We are so proud of him and the example he is to our family.  We had lots of family that came to town to share his special day with us and we are feeling so blessed.  

After the Baptism we had a BBQ and went swimming. We had amazing food and loads of fun.  The kids had so much fun that they wore themselves out.  Trey said he couldn't of had a better day and was sad to see everyone leave. Thanks to our families for all the love and support you have given us and for supporting Trey this weekend.  We love you all.

cupcakes

Lately Elle has been watching cupcake videos on youtube.  She likes to watch them make all different kinds of cupcakes.  So yesterday for something to do we made cupcakes and I got just random candy for the kids to decorate them.  Each got to pick the color of frosting they wanted to make and we let them have at it.  

Elle went with purple frosting and made a butterfly, cat, sunflower and some other fun things.

 Trey had red frosting that looks more pink but oh well and he made mine craft cakes, a snowman and a person. 

 Brex chose orange frosting and well he's 3 so I have no idea what was going for. 

 The kids had a blast and I think we might do this more often.  

Birthday Fun

Trey's birthday was a blast.  We partied it up with a fun filled day.  We had Grandma and Papa Whitney come up and Uncle Dan came over.  Trey wanted to go to Pirate Cove for pizza and arcade games for his birthday dinner so we did.  We hit a jackpot of almost 1200 tickets and add that to the 500 we already had and the kids were set for prizes.  We went in with 3 kids and came out with 3 pirates.  

We than went home and did presents. Trey got a new scooter, wii u game, mini cars and money.  He was hilarious when he got his money he threw it up in the air and let it rain money. 

 After presents we went swimming.  We played tag in the lazy river and played to our hearts content.  Last but not least we went back home to sing Happy Birthday and cut into his custom made sonic cake.  It was an awesome cake and he LOVED it.  

We had loads of fun and will have more fun in a week when everyone comes down for his baptism.  Happy Birthday Trey Trey!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TREY!!! 

You are now 8 years old and it seems like yesterday you came into this world giving daddy and I the shock of our lives.  We thought we were getting a little girl and here you came not a girl but a bigger than life boy! We fell in love instantly and have never looked back.  

Here are some things that we  love about you.

-You are so smart and with that comes your humility.

Trey you are such a great son, brother, friend, cousin and grandson. You deserve everything that this world has to offer you.  You are so special to us and we love you like crazy!!!

Mothers Day

I hope all the Mothers out there had an amazing Mothers Day, I know I did.  My family spoiled me rotten.  My brother Dan watched the kids for us on Friday night and Cale took me on our first date in 2 months.  We went to dinner and to the movies.  On Saturday night Cale's parents watched the kiddos and Cale took me into Vegas to the Venetian for dinner.  It was delicious! On Sunday my kids gave me new picture frames and I LOVE them!!  The best part about the weekend was getting to spend so much time with my family! The kids played in the sprinklers, we all played soccer and we had a ton of fun.  In fact Brex had so much fun that after he ate some Strawberries and whip cream he fell asleep while playing on my phone.  It was so cute!  Thank you to my sweet hubby and amazing kids for the fantastic Mother's Day!  I'm so blessed to be their mother and wife!

Kids

It's the month of May and I can't quite believe it!  The kids only have 2 1/2 weeks left of the school year and can't wait to be out for summer.  They had their last soccer games this past Saturday and it was a great season.  Elle is one heck of a goalie, she's not scared to go out there and mix it up to get the ball before they can score.  Trey too played goalie but didn't see much action.  Both kids participated in their track and field days at school.  Trey took 1st out of all the second graders in the 50 meter dash.  He is so fast it's unbelievable!! Running is his thing he loves it! Elle did the softball throw and the 50 meter dash.  She did really well, and had a blast.  Trey's baseball is coming along great and he has had 2 home runs so far this season.  It's been so fun to watch my boys as Cale helps coach and Trey plays.  We only have 4 more games before the end of the season boy does it go fast.

I've been bragging about my 2 older kids and I can't forget my baby boy.  Brex thinks he's as big as Trey and acts like it too. He can smack a baseball way out in the field.  Catch any ball thrown at him and runs like the wind.  He gets to go to preschool and play on his own soccer team this fall.  He really wants to go to Cars land "so bad".  He honestly can drive us crazy but he is our cuddle bug!  Our routine at night is this: Mommy: "good night buddy" B: "Good night mommy" M: "Love you" B: "love you too mommy." M: "Sweet dreams" B: "sweet dreams mommy."and kisses. He than does the same with daddy than he is out like a light that fast.  It melts my heart each night.

Our lives are crazy each and every day.  We struggle but we have been blessed.  Our kids are the greatest blessing that we could ever have.  It's insane how much love we have for each of them.  We feel their pain, experience their joys, listen to their insight and learn something from them each and every day.  Life would be very boring without them. Thank-you Heavenly Father for sending me 3 Angels!!!
