Happy Birthday Trey!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TREY!!! 

You are now 8 years old and it seems like yesterday you came into this world giving daddy and I the shock of our lives.  We thought we were getting a little girl and here you came not a girl but a bigger than life boy! We fell in love instantly and have never looked back.  

Here are some things that we  love about you.

-You will stand up for your siblings no matter what

-Your love for cooking.  

-You are so smart and with that comes your humility.

-Most of all we love that you are not ashamed to give us hugs and kisses and say I love you!

Trey you are such a great son, brother, friend, cousin and grandson. You deserve everything that this world has to offer you.  You are so special to us and we love you like crazy!!!

Mothers Day

I hope all the Mothers out there had an amazing Mothers Day, I know I did.  My family spoiled me rotten.  My brother Dan watched the kids for us on Friday night and Cale took me on our first date in 2 months.  We went to dinner and to the movies.  On Saturday night Cale's parents watched the kiddos and Cale took me into Vegas to the Venetian for dinner.  It was delicious! On Sunday my kids gave me new picture frames and I LOVE them!!  The best part about the weekend was getting to spend so much time with my family! The kids played in the sprinklers, we all played soccer and we had a ton of fun.  In fact Brex had so much fun that after he ate some Strawberries and whip cream he fell asleep while playing on my phone.  It was so cute!  Thank you to my sweet hubby and amazing kids for the fantastic Mother's Day!  I'm so blessed to be their mother and wife!

It's the month of May and I can't quite believe it!  The kids only have 2 1/2 weeks left of the school year and can't wait to be out for summer.  They had their last soccer games this past Saturday and it was a great season.  Elle is one heck of a goalie, she's not scared to go out there and mix it up to get the ball before they can score.  Trey too played goalie but didn't see much action.  Both kids participated in their track and field days at school.  Trey took 1st out of all the second graders in the 50 meter dash.  He is so fast it's unbelievable!! Running is his thing he loves it! Elle did the softball throw and the 50 meter dash.  She did really well, and had a blast.  Trey's baseball is coming along great and he has had 2 home runs so far this season.  It's been so fun to watch my boys as Cale helps coach and Trey plays.  We only have 4 more games before the end of the season boy does it go fast.

I've been bragging about my 2 older kids and I can't forget my baby boy.  Brex thinks he's as big as Trey and acts like it too. He can smack a baseball way out in the field.  Catch any ball thrown at him and runs like the wind.  He gets to go to preschool and play on his own soccer team this fall.  He really wants to go to Cars land "so bad".  He honestly can drive us crazy but he is our cuddle bug!  Our routine at night is this: Mommy: "good night buddy" B: "Good night mommy" M: "Love you" B: "love you too mommy." M: "Sweet dreams" B: "sweet dreams mommy."and kisses. He than does the same with daddy than he is out like a light that fast.  It melts my heart each night.

Our lives are crazy each and every day.  We struggle but we have been blessed.  Our kids are the greatest blessing that we could ever have.  It's insane how much love we have for each of them.  We feel their pain, experience their joys, listen to their insight and learn something from them each and every day.  Life would be very boring without them. Thank-you Heavenly Father for sending me 3 Angels!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Brex!

Happy Birthday to my Baby!! 

Brex turned 3 today and we have partied all day long. He had a soccer themed party that included a soccer cake and soccer candles.  Grandma and papa surprised the kids by coming up to celebrate with us.  That was so much fun, Thank you for coming!! Brex got a birthday hair cut, 3 new outfits with a new pair of shoes.  He got a new bike that is shiny(his only request for his birthday), money and remote control bumper cars that they have had a blast with(thanks uncle dan.) I can't believe my baby is 3. He is growing up so fast. He's my little cuddle bug and my laugh machine.  He is so mischievous that it makes me worry sometimes but I wouldn't change that for the world. He always tells me good night and say's "I love you mommy." it melts my heart and we usually sing twinkle twinkle little star.  If you ask him how old he is he'll tell you 5.  He thinks he's that big but I'm glad he's only 3.  He will always be our little Brexy Boo no matter how old he gets.  We love you buddy Happy Birthday!!!

Easter 2013

We had a fun Easter this year.  Like every year we came home with loads of candy.  We got to spend time with Cales family and had lots of laughs and great food. We colored eggs, had 2 egg hunts, and hit a Pinata. Hope everyone else's Easters were as good as ours was.

Sparkle Club update

We picked up the kids from school today and Elle was telling us how a Chess player had read about the Sparkle Club and wanted to meet them and teach them about Chess. She than told us that they took pictures and he gave her and her friend Tasha little key chains in the shape of a Chess piece(of course Elle's is pink.) Later this evening Elle's teacher sent me all of these pictures that they took. I guess this guy is a teacher at Dixie College. Also today Elle came home with a letter sent to her from another little girl from a different school.  It was addressed to her school with attention to Elle Whitney.  This little girl told Elle that she had read about the Sparkle club and wanted to know how she came up with the idea to start the club. She also wanted details on how they came up with the name,  how to get a club like this started and a ton of other questions.  It was adorable!!! She even included her number and email address so Elle can write back.  It's crazy to see how many people read about the Sparkle Club and want to know more about it.  What an amazing experience this has been for Elle and us. I am one proud momma!!! Love my Elle Belle!!

Duckie Drop 2013

So it's that time of year again when we do the Duckie Drop.  This year I was helping out with the event so I didn't get to swim with the kids but Cale and Dan took over for me and we all had a blast!  The kids walked away with a couple of baskets full of goodies and a bat and ball.  Brex was so excited, all day he kept saying we are doing the duckie drop.  I have to admit it is a fun event and one that my kids have loved going to every year. I was only able to get pictures before the drops but oh well it's still fun to have some pictures of them.
