Elf days 6-12

Our elf has been busy and keeping us highly entertained.  It is so fun to listen to the kids as they race down the stairs to see what Lucky has been up too. But here is what he's been up to this week.  Can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

Day 6 he toilet papered our tree
Day 7 He wanted to color in Elle's coloring book
Day 8 he used the fire truck ladder to get to the candy canes.
Day 9 he left a little message for the kids.
Day 10 Lucky decided he needed a drink of syrup.
Day 11 Lucky replaced the Angle on our tree. I guess she needed a vacation.
Day 12 is making snow angles. A classic winter activity!!

O Christmas Tree

This is post number 4 so make sure you keep scrolling down to catch all of our other posts.  We finally got our REAL Christmas tree and it smell soooooooo good!  I love the smell of a fresh tree. The kids had so much fun decorating the tree.  They each have ornaments that they've been given every year and it's fun to watch them unwrap them and see what they have.  The kids were totally stoked and couldn't wait to bring the tree home. We even picked up a new snowman that looks like a snow globe that we have but it's an ornament that lights up.  It's super cute and the kids love it!  I'm excited to finally have a place to put our Christmas presents! :)

Leaves

3 posts in one day wow I'm on a roll.  We stopped at the park on our way to the basketball game.  While there Elle and Brex started to make a leaf pile.  It was super cute, they would both get arm fulls of leaves and throw them on the pile.  It is still such beautiful weather here and we are totally taking advantage.

Such determination on their little faces.

 Action Shots Love them!

 Love my kids!!

Basketball here we come

As mentioned in the post before Trey had his very first basketball game today and Cale and I are his coaches.  Our team did amazing and we barely lost right at the end.  It is definitely a learning experience for us.  We have some awesome kids on our team and we are so excited to watch the progress that is sure to come in this season!

Days 3-5

Lucky has been keeping us highly entertained with his antics.  The kids have had a blast trying to find him every morning.  They get so excited to see what new adventure he is having.  On a side note we have started Basketball with Trey and we are the coaches.  It's been a bit of an experience so far, partly because I don't really have any idea about basketball and the other part is it's the first year for all of these 2nd graders to be playing.  We actually missed the first game because we were up north so today will be an experience for all of us.  Wish us luck!!!

Day 3 Lucky decided to relax in a bubble tub with some friends
Day 4 Lucky repelled from our light.
Day 5 Friday night poker night right?  Lucky must like Chocolate!!

Elf on the Shelf Days 1 & 2

We have joined the masses that have started the Elf on the Shelf tradition.  Our Elf is named Lucky because according to Elle "He's Lucky because he came to such Lucky kids."  Lucky showed up on Spike our Dinosaur on our table.  He brought with him a book for the kids to read and some snickers. We learned that we can't touch Lucky or else he loses all of his magic and every night he returns to Santa to report on whether the kids have been good or bad.

Day 2(today) showed the prankster side of Lucky.  He made the kids cereal for breakfast and turned our milk green!! The kids laughed and think Lucky is so funny.  They can't wait to see what he does next.

Welcome December

We had a busy weekend this past weekend.  We went up north for my nieces baptism and my nephews baby blessing and in between all that we decided to have Thanksgiving again with the fam.  I also got to spend some time with one of my best friends.  Thank-you Dan for getting Breana and I together for a few hours.  We ate tons of food and had quite a few laughs.  Friends with......connections has taken on a whole new meaning right Kelz?  :) We even got to witness grandma doing the kinect with the little kids and aunt Kelz. We had a blast and can't wait to do it again.  Thank-you Becca for housing us, and my parents and sisters for all the yummy food.
