Happy Mothers Day everyone!
This Mothers Day my kiddos put on a puppet show for me.  Trey made up the story and they all drew the pictures, cut them out and taped them to sticks.  It was adorable!!  Trey also made me a pillow in school and that is super cute!  Thank-you kiddos for a fantastic Mothers Day.

This week was Cotton Days and my good friend Jackie and I were in-charge of 2nd grade field trips that lasted 3 days and included all the 2nd graders in Washington County. We also run Cotton Fest which is a day filled with vendors, bounce houses, carnival rides and our newest addition this year the ball rollers on water.  Here is a pictures of us at our last event Saturday afternoon.  So glad it's over!

Goal!!

Today was the last day of the soccer season for us.  Trey's team did an awesome job this morning and took 2nd place overall for the season.  The only loss they had was to the team that is in 1st. The had to work hard on todays game, the fell behind by 2 goals early on, but they came back to tie the game.  Trey has had a blast this year and made so many new friends, it's kind of sad to see it end.

Elle scored again and this time it was the first goal of the game!  She positioned herself a little bit down the field and when the ball came to her she turned it around, ran super hard and scored!! Her team is undefeated for this season!  They were amazing and deserve it!  Both kids had awesome seasons and great coaches!  We have had so much fun going to soccer practices and games. Now on to baseball.

Field Day

Last Friday was field day for the kids.  They competed in the 50 meter dash, a relay, the 3 legged race and the long jump.  Trey our little track star took first in his class for the 50 meter dash and took 2nd overall out of all the first graders.  His relay team all took 1st out of the the 1st graders!!! Elle's team took 2nd in the relay.  They had so much fun, and to top off the fabulous day Trey lost his tooth at lunch.  When I picked him up the kids were all trying to tell me how he won and how he lost his tooth.  I think they were more excited for him than he was!!  Good job Trey and Elle you guys did awesome!!

Score!!!

Our little Elle scored her very first goal this past Saturday.  She had two really good shots and couldn't get a goal and than in the first few minutes of the second half she smashed one into the goal!!!! We were so excited! She was grinning from ear to ear and gave me the thumbs up!  She has really picked up on soccer and loves it. We weren't sure she would when we signed her up but wow what an experience for her and us!  Way to go Elle Belle!!!

Brex is 2

Brex turned 2 on Easter Sunday.  We did the Easter activities first and then it was on to his birthday activities.  During the easter egg hunt he spotted his presents and decided he wanted to open those instead. I can't believe that he is already 2.  It makes me so sad that my baby is growing up so fast.  Here are some of the things that Brex does, knows and loves

-His favorite word is "NO"
-He loves to tease.
-He loves loves loves balls.  All types of balls.
-His favorite cartoons are bubble guppies and team umizoomi
-He has recently discovered hot dogs and loves them.  He also loves fruit, fruit snacks, noodles and olives. He's actually a really good eater.
-He likes to ride his bike and scooter and play outside.
-He can count and is learning his ABC's and colors.
-He knows where his eye's, ears, hair, belly, fingers, mouth, tongue, teeth, toes and more are at on his body.

He is my smart little whipper snapper and he amazes us everyday by the new things he's learning and doing.  There are times where I think he's not old enough to do that or know that or say that, but I guess it's time for momma to realize that her baby is growing up and that's ok.

We love you Brexy boo and we can't wait to see what the next year brings.

Easter

We had a wonderful easter this year. The kids had a blast coloring their eggs and than going on the easter egg hunt. They also had fun doing the pinata. It's a tradition with us to do a pinata every easter and this year Brex was having none of it.  He took just one swing and it was game over.  He did like picking up the candy afterwards and putting it in his basket.  Here are some pictures of our Easter.

 Easter egg hunt.

The kids were left with a Riddle to find their Easter Goodies.
Brex's goody was a red bouncy ball
Elle's riddle was this: Elle is still our little princess we suppose, maybe she should look where we dry our clothes.
Trey's said: "Trey likes to play games on the tv, with his old ones a new one may be."

Better late than never....

Happy Birthday to my sweetheart!  Cale's birthday was at the end of March and I am now just getting to it.  I realize I should have posted before the other 2 posts but like the title says better late than never.  We did it up right by getting balloons that the kids picked out.  Getting a red velvet cake(I didn't have time to make one and I haven't attempted red velvet yet) and of course getting his birthday present.  We grilled up some awesome steaks and corn on the BBQ and no BBQ is complete without pasta salad and fruit.  Dinner was delicious and so was dessert!  Elle decided to be the photographer and she definitely got pictures of all of us.  We love you sweetie and are so glad to had an awesome birthday!

The kids waiting for the food to be done!

 The cake with it's 13 + 1 + 1 Candles
We didn't have enough candles for 33 but we did have a 3 and a 1 and 2 single candles. Elle put the candles on the cake and it read 13 plus the 2 singles.  It was pretty funny and we all chuckled about how Cale was turning 15.  Love you babe!!!
