a fun weekend

My parents, brandon, paula, becca, brad, and zack came down to visit us this weekend. We've been having a blast! zack and trey are the same age and have been having fun playing everything from golf to cars to making messes. Yesterday we all went swimming at my new pool and then the guys went out golfing while becca, paula and i went shopping. My mom watched the boys and elle slept the whole time. Today we went to the park and they had so much fun throwing the ball around and chasing it. They all just got back from visiting my parents friends house. They have a real stuffed bear and the kids wanted to go see and touch the bear. to tell you the truth i'm surprised that trey even went close to it but polly said he touched it. Now we're all relaxing and the boys are playing cars while elle is watching shrek and the rest of us are going to start up a game a scum.

my baby boy has turned 3. Trey got to celebrate his birthday with his grandpa whitney whose b-day is the day before his. Thanks grandma and grandpa whitney for coming and celebrating with us for both parties. Also for trey's present, he's having fun shooting me with the balls. We got trey a golf set and he can't wait to go out and try them. I hope the weather clears up so we can take him out soon or else i'm afraid i'll have a busted window soon. What's funny about trey is that cale got him a cars cake and he won't let us take the car toy off or let us eat the middle. He loves to look at his cake and tells us all the time that his cars cake is cool. What a sweet fun boy i have. I love him so much and hope he'll not grow up so fast.

double the............

first i just wanted to say thanks to g&g whitney for helping cale and the kids out this weekend. Thanks so much we love you guys!! Cale took the kids down to his parents house this past friday because i was in a class for 2 days. I sure did miss them while they were gone. Sure it was a blast to have some time to myself but i got bored so fast. It got me thinkin about how much life has changed in just 3 short years. 3 years ago we were 1 day away from being in the hospital waiting for our little girl to come join us,or so we thought! we went into the hospital on may 19, 2005 and Trey was born may 20, 2005. He was suppose to be a girl or at least that's what they told us. Imagine our shock when out pops this boy! 14 months later here comes our little girl, Elle. At that time both cale and i couldn't imagine how we were going to take care of 2 kids so close in age. it was an adjustment when things came in singles, now everything that happens comes in doubles. double the fights, double the tears, double the screams, double the time it takes to go anywhere, and double the times you throw your hands up in the air and surrender. it's not all bad because there's double the kisses, double the hugs, double the smiles, double the giggles, double the happy moments in life, and double the "i love you's". in all fairness life couldn't be better, even if everything does come in doubles.

filling the pool

well for those that don't know i work for washington city as their pool supervisor and we are in the process of finishing our new building which opens next monday the 19th. today they started to fill our lap pool and it's really exciting. it's going to be so much fun when we do get everything up and running. there is also a huge play structure in the middle of the leisure pool. it's a kids idea of fun and a lifeguards worst nightmare!!

water fight

last night maxx, ryder, trey and of course cale all got into a water fight. at first it was innocent and started with a few water balloons and then the hose was turned on and the game was on. all of them ended up soaked but they all had a blast, including elle belle. trey got her with the hose and she was furious! here are a few pics of them having some fun.

happy mothers day ya'll!!!! i've got the best hubby and kids. they are so sweet and i love them so very much. for mothers day they got me a new camera and memory card to go with it. I'm so excited! our other camera is on a downward spiral and this one is awesome. here are a couple of new pics with my new camera. hope you all have a great day today. relax and enjoy!!!

a day at the park

i met up with cale and the kids at the park today for lunch. It was the second visit to a park today for the kids and we decided that instead of staying around the playground area that we would go down where the trees were. In the middle there is a little stream. we played pooh sticks and eventually trey was in the stream completely soaked and loving life. elle had a blast dangling her feet into the water.
